All members will play to a maximum course handicap of 40.
o If a member’s course handicap is greater than 40, her handicap will be reduced to 40 for SHWGC events and tournaments
Gold tee players will play with a course handicap based on their current index and a slope of 126.
Silver tee players will play with a course handicap based on their current index and a slope of 118.
o If there are enough silver tee players (minimum of 4), they will play in their own flight with no adjustment to their course handicaps.
o If silver and gold players are playing in the same flight, the silver tee players course handicap will be reduced by three strokes (based on the rating differential between the gold and silver tees).
